Investment in Health: Massage
30 Minute Massage $35
The basics of massage in a condensed session; back, neck, and shoulder treatment, using massage techniques to promote circulation, lengthen tight and impeded muscles, improve posture and breathing, while leaving you feeling relaxed and invigorated for the rest of your day.
60 Minute Massage $65
This massage focuses on use of massage techniques to the head, face, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, chest, legs, feet, gluts, and back to achieve ultimate results. This massage includes techniques to loosen and rejuvenate tight muscles, increase range of motion, increase relaxation and decrease stress. May include hydrotherapy (use of water), or thermotherapy (use of heat), when appropriate to prolong the therapeutic effects based on session goals and client preference.
75 Minute Massage $75
A client favorite! This session allows the extra time to fully address any specific problem areas and give these areas the necessary attention that a 60 minute massage may not provide for. Same attention to the areas of an hour long session, this session also involves stretching and Range of Motion Techniques, to further lengthen chronically shortened tissues. Perfect for anyone who loves massage, but always feels like it ends too quickly.
75 Minute Thermal Palms® Massage $80
A full body massage with the addition of Thermal Palms. What are Thermal Palms? They are a hand-held heated tool, similar to hot rocks, with molding capabilities making tissues covering and surrounding bone highly accessible. They are filled with a soft, warm substance, which heats the tissues on a deeper level, allowing for greater tension release. If you have experienced hot stone massages in the past and enjoyed them, try a Thermal Palms® massage today.
Deep Tissue Sessions 30/60 minutes $40/$70
These sessions are for those who are veterans of massage therapy, and appropriate for tissues needing a greater amount of pressure to accomplish therapeutic goals. I first assess the ability of the tissues to respond to this type of intense work, and proceed with the massage, implementing alternate techniques to get to the deeper layers of muscles and fascia. These sessions are geared to reduce trigger points, reduce pain, reduce muscle spasms, increase nutrition and circulation to tissues and joints, and decrease muscle tenderness.
Therapeutic Massage Sessions 30/60 minutes $35/$65
These sessions incorporate massage techniques, positional release techniques, range of motion techniques, and joint stretching to achieve specific goals following an in-depth assessment of movement patterns, posture, gait, and range of motion. Specific muscle groups are targeted to achieve results, so many parts of the body that would be included during a relaxation session, maybe omitted during these treatments, dependent upon desired outcome . Increased range of motion, decreased pain, tenderness, and spasms, improved nutrition to joints and tissues, re-balanced posture and gait, and muscular re-education are some of the benefits of these focused treatment sessions. These sessions are ideal for those suffering from repetitive stress injuries, whiplash, low back pain, or other specific conditions. A physician's release for massage may be required under some circumstances.
Myofascial Sessions 60 minutes $70
Upper body session uses myofascial release techniques to achieve specific therapeutic goals. This is relatively deep work is intended to release the fascia, (connective tissue surrounding muscles,) so that muscles are relaxed, pliable, and more functional. Sessions utilize techniques in a sequence that will encourage the optimal amount of stretching and relaxing of the fascia. Neck, back, ribs, stomach, chest, diaphragm, hands and arms are worked during these sessions and active client participation is a necessity. Oils and lotions are used sparingly during this treatment to allow techniques to be properly executed, and clients should wear active wear (sports bra or regular bra) during these sessions as draping is not used. Clients can expect to leave sessions with improved posture, improved breathing capacity, increased flexibility of the neck, arms, wrists, and fingers, and an overall sense of being more open and balanced. These sessions are very unlike traditional massage, and regular therapeutic or relaxation massage sessions are recommended prior to receiving this treatment.
Ancillary Services:

(Thermal Palms® are a hand-held heated tool, similar to hot rocks, which can safely be used over bone. They are filled with a soft, warm substance, which heats the tissues on a deeper level, allowing for greater tension release.)
